Protein A is a cell wall protein derived from Staphyloccal aureus that has the ability to bind the Fc region of lgG molecules. Protein A Ultraflow consists of recombinant protein A immobilized to the base matrix (a highly cross-linked 4% agarose), forming a stable thioether linkage that results in excellent gel stability, low ligand leaching, and a high binding capacity for lgG.

Sterogene's Protein A Ultraflow is comparable to some of the highest quality agarose-based recombinant Protein A resins on the market today. And with its high subsistution levels, great flow rates and low leaching, it makes an excellent choice for a new process, or to update your existing Protein A process.
