*Chitosan scaffolds are sterilisable by autoclaving, preserving dimensions and elasticity.

The Chitosan scaffolds included in the kit are sized to fit in a standard 6 well plate and facilitate scaffold handling without damage to the scaffold or unintentional removal of cells.
Custom felts, foils or engineered structures
can also be supplied. |  |  | Studies have shown that cell populations
can be increased by over 104 within 3 weeks
and cultures can be maintained
for extended time periods.
During culture cell phenotype is maintained
along with high viability. Animal
implantation studies have shown that the
matrix is stable for up to 3 months. |
